The Black, White and Blues in Chicago Quest let students explore the neighborhood and environment surrounding Lorraine Hansberry's landmark play, A Raisin in the Sun. The Quest uses over 150 archival photographs of Chicago's Southside and American urban areas taken between 1940 and 1960, along with videos and essays of great thinkers of the time. This explorative experience gives students the context they need to understand the play and the complex issues of the time.
